I am an Interaction Designer with the User Centered Design group at Sage in Richmond, BC. We are responsible for making a small business accounting software application efficient, usable and enjoyable to use for user both new and old.
In the past I've had the opportunity to research and design mobile technologies, social behaviour in public spaces, and interactive artwork. In the future I hope to be involved in the design of easy-to-use technologies and systems that enable people to connect with one another, learn and be creative.
My other hopes for the not-to-distant future are to have: run a marathon, knitted a sweater, learned how to ski (and stop), learned how to change the gear cables on my bike, polished a repertoire of at least seven songs that I will enthusiastically sing and play on guitar at a party if you ask me to, and uploaded at least 3000 photos to Flickr.
