I made it to WordPress (I think…let me know if there are problems with the site). Things seem stable, the template is starting to work itself out. Of course initially I wanted to recreate my blogger template but it didn’t work out that way. Mostly because I use tables in the template and from what I know tables are obsolete and should be avoided when using css stylesheets. They are a bit of a pain to get working for you so after accepting that things wouldn’t look exactly the same, I was happy to ditch the tables.
Oh but WordPress is sooo addictive. There are so many things I can do, things I can choose from, then what I had with Blogger. The categories (!!!!) oh my gosh. The categories…I needed those. I could spend all night tagging past entried, I just might do that. Another great thing is that this is all running on MY server…no 3rd party! A number of people have mentioned that they almost left a comment but were confused when taken to the Blogger comment page. It’s alll here now!
But when do I unveil? The old site is still up…I will need to redirect people to here…when do I unveil…..
