nightime photos

The new camera has been great. Finally, I can take photos at nightime. They may be a bit blurry and this photo was supported by the porchlights of the daycare but…

…at least I have a recognizable image of these lilies. I saw them on my way home from work on Friday night. The smell was so strong from the recent rain.

Oh, funny. I’ve actually been considering the Fuji Finepix as my next camera and for exactly that reason: while I like my Canon Elph a lot, the one thing it can’t do well is take pictures in low light. Which I seem to do a lot. Or maybe it just seems that way because whenever I want to shoot dark, I can’t, or if I do, it sucks.
