lost shoes

I can’t believe this. After more than a year, since March of 2006, I am once again the proud owner of home Internet. They hooked me up this morning but I had no chance to try. Now, 18 hours later, I have plugged waffles in and she is really back.

What will this mean for the course of the next 2 months? I can write to you I really can. Because it is times like this, 4:30am after いろいろな drinks that it feels comfortable. Not jotted down and then written in a rush at work.

Last night there was a birthday party at an onsen (hot spring) / unagi restaurant. On the way home I spotted these shoes in Yokosuka-chuo. Nice shoes, abandonned, by a bicycle, not really around anything else. Do they belong to the rider of the bicycle? Is there a man walking around barefoot? Are they my size?

Mystery shoes they are.

Hi! I had an idea for a pair of lost shoes like these. I was going to attatch a small piece of paper with a message on it, so that people like you who stumbled upon them would read something fantastical to do with their owner’s sudden disappearance. I haven’t found any shoes though, and I keep forgetting to just buy a pair and stick them out on the street.

This is a bit of a test and a reply. I think it would be interesting to put a photograph in the shoes. It is spooky finding photographs.

Ok, I will give that a shot. Yeah, getting a picture has a simimlar vein to it. Mabye like a vacation picture on a beach or something. The original idea was business shoes, and the message something to do with escaping the work force or something similar.
